Portrait Questionnaire

Thank you for selecting us to make your portrait. Since this is custom work, we need your participation to give you the best possible results. After you fill out the questionnaire, send it to us together with 1 to 4 of your best photographs of your portrait subject. Did you know that background photos and additional subjects can be in separate photographs—and we can integrate them! And if you like, you may also include any other information you think might help us to capture the spirit of your subject.

When we receive your questionnaire and photos, we will send you an invoice (through PayPal) of the portrait price. The invoice will also show you the amount of the deposit you will need to make in order for us to begin work on your portrait. Upon receiving your deposit through PayPal, we will compose a preliminary layout sketch based on your photographs and the information you have provided in this questionnaire.

After we receive your approval of our preliminary sketch, we will reserve a place for you on our portrait list. Our normal completion time for custom portraits is approximately 4 to 8 weeks. Holiday times are busy, so the earlier we receive the order, the more likely it is to be there “in time”! If you prefer, you may call us and we can fill out the questionnaire on the phone with you.
